Sarah Ann Dennis

I am looking for anything on this person prior to 1863, please
   From the later census returns she would have been born appx 1831 in Peterborough, Northants.
   Somewhere, sometime she married a George Smith would would have been born appx 1829 in Lincoln, presumably the city and not just the county.
   I picked them up in 1863, living in Osbaldwick, near York, with daughters Emily b. 18/12/1863, and Louisa, b. 18/9 1865. By 1871 they had moved to Kippax, near Leeds, had several more children, and later moved to Spofforth near Wetherby. Sarah died 1909, age 78.death reg'd at Wetherby.

 I can't find any mention of them in 1841,1851, or 1861, no mention of a marriage anywhere, no mention of birth/baptism, parents or family.

  If anyone can help with the early part of her life, I would be very pleased.

Have you posted about this lady before only the players sound familiar?

Do the 2 daughters have mothers maiden name Dennis or something else?

I see 4 girls were baptised at the same time

Can't find Emily birth reg but the others have Dennis or Denniss

It's possible Sarah was married previous to meeting George Smith so wouldn't have married him (if they did marry) under the name Dennis. 

Have you looked for a previous or first marriage for her to someone else before George?

Not the right age for yours but in case it helps there is another Sarah Ann Dennis born Peterborough 1814 with a son William Frederick born Peterborough 1835.

Could be related to your Sarah Ann, something to look at anyway even if only to discount.
