Transcriptions are on FindMyPast. Original documents are at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre.

Hi artifis,

You might be interested to know the WiltsFHS have produced a CD of "Wilts, Berkshire & Dorset Marriage Licence Bonds 1609-1837 - CD 01"

I'm not sure if this still their address;   publication-sales@wiltshirefhs.co.uk
but you have to purchase thru;  https://www.genfair.co.uk/supplier.php?sid=116
I have found it very useful.

Disclaimer; not associated with either, just a happy purchaser.

Thanks Ribbo39, I do have several marriages in Berks that were by special licence so the CD would allow me to trawl through and find the ones I am interested in or eliminate those not associated with my ancestors.

I did find the licence bond I was interested in on FindMyPast as I had specific search information, now I have more nebulous ones to search for hence the trawl.

Thanks both for you advice.   :)
