« on: Tuesday 18 December 18 07:03 GMT (UK) »
My genealogy group meeting is TODAY!!! and as it's our Christmas "do" we're having a quiz. Last year it was won by someone who had kept a note of last year's Q&A's.........so I need some new questions.............any ideas?

You just beat NZ!  KG   Is IOM not self governing, I thought it was???

"Suffrage and beyond. On 19 September 1893 the governor, Lord Glasgow, signed a new Electoral Act into law. As a result of this landmark legislation, New Zealand became the first self-governing country in the world in which women had the right to vote in parliamentary elections."
