mary patrick bn 1814 Lubenham and Thomas Luck of same parish married 1831../Banns read...
 then disappear.
Her parents are Ann Swingler and William Patrick.
lots of searching and no rewards... she must have either died within weeks of marriage or ran off and so not married.. not on any census that I can find under the name LUCK

May be a .n.other mistranscription ??  I just cannot find her..

I cant find much either, Another Mary Patrick marries in Lubenham 1833 but I assume this is the Mary Ann Patrick bapt 1812?
A quick search shows that there are no births within a 20 year radius of 1840 of Children with the Surname Luck and with mothers maiden name as Patrick.

Records on A…..y

I notice that her brother William, born 1815, was baptised 11 Jun 1816 at the Independent Church in Lubenham, also maybe John later in 1818.

I wonder if the following may be the same family?

M Patrick
Birth Date about 1815
Burial
Death about 1828
Death Age 13
Burial Date 19 Jan 1828
Burial Place: Proteslands, Leicestershire, England
Denomination Independent
Piece 1631: Market Harborough (Independent), 1753-1837

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

There were two Mary Patricks baptised the same day parents William & Ann as you know and parents Samuel & Ann, not to Mention Mary Ann Patrick baptised 1812.

Trees on A....ty seem to have reached different conclusions on later events for the Latter Mary Ann.

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

Yes - thank you   a tight knit lot   they really are.

Mary's sister  Jane Swingler marries on the same sheet  ( she was born 1811 before parents married)
and the only new birth is an illegitimate 1836 birth

so not sure.

Somewhere amongst the pages of Roots chat.. you will find my ongoing queries regarding the Mary  Patricks... between 1811 and 1814..  I am sure I have them sussed to the correct partners now.. I did have at least.

so yes the varying trees on Ancestry have got them mixed up.. but they are all MINE..

as this

Samuels daughter marries Thomas or william Goode.  anyway I have all that .. its just this Mary that has been on a back burner for some time.

There's another Thomas Luck marriage at Leicester St Martin's in 1835 (to Ann Eldridge).

Comparing the signatures:

the sigs are not really that much alike... but it does throw up a query that she died early  or that the marriage didnt actually happen..

It does say with permission of the parents.... so who knows..

I have found a Thomas Luck in certain census but not of the correct age......
