LOOK UP REQUEST:- ST MARTINS IN THE FIELD
« on: Thursday 20 December 18 17:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I’m doing some research into George Edmunds Williams, a Cheltenham solicitor, who married Millborough Carlton at St Martins in the Field, Westminster, on 19 February 1843.

Millborough is proving difficult to trace prior to 1843 so I’m keen to find out the name and occupation of her father.

If someone is able to obtain the full details of George and Millborough’s marriage lines I’d be very grateful.

Her daughter Mary is christened as Mary Milbro Cox daughter of George Cox (Clerk in an Attorney's Office) and Milbro on 23 October 1839 at St Mary, Gloucestershire.

Hmmm....did George Cox exist, particularly as by the time she had George she said she was a single woman?  First marriage that she wasn't confessing to when she married in London to George Williams?

1851 gives her birth place as either Barrow or Burrow (writing not clear), Worcestershire. Or equally could be Berrow that actually exists... ;D
