Will of 1508

I would be very grateful if someone could work their magic on a couple of extracts from a will of 1508. Once again I think I can see something in it which may well not be there.

y^t = that

aught = owed

Rauffe = Ralph

pour = power (probably)  He is saying that his burying should match his means.

Potentially barleston & butlre could begin with C.  I would need to see how he forms his C to be certain.

Many thanks horsleydown86, this is great. I was hoping that I was reading Newbold correctly. Naneby was more or less equidistant between Newbold Verdon and Market Bosworth and Newbold church was also left money in the will of 1545 of Thomas Lea of Bagworth (whose son, mentioned in this will, was a major farmer in Bosworth around 1570) so this seems to be further circumstantial evidence that these Leas of 1508 and 1545 were probably related. I’m not sure what the significance of Newbold was for these individuals, but Newbold was probably on the most direct route from Bosworth to Bagworth.

I know back then priests often were called 'Sir' as well as knights.
I suspect this is what that symbol is, but am happy to be corrected!

You are right with this reading, goldie.  It's a version of the ser brevigraph, here doing duty for s(ir) as well.

Unfortunately the useful part of this clip is the same as was posted and answered here:

This version just has four extra lines of standard formalities?

Thank you for the transcriptions, they are very helpful. I apologise for posting more or less a duplicate of part I’d already posted. If I could read it better myself I maybe wouldn't have made such a silly error. I hope it will be O.K. to post a couple more extracts soon, which I’ll try not to duplicate. Unfortunately I must go Christmas food shopping first.
