What Medals
« on: Thursday 20 December 18 19:12 GMT (UK) »
Hi
My Great Uncle Tom Pullan was in the 10th Yorks and was servery wounded at the Battle of Loos on 26th Sept 1916, he was discharged from the Army on 18th April 1916. I know he received the Victory Medal but what if any other Medals was he entitled too.

If he had the Victory Medal then he qualified for the War Medal too. Presumably you haven't identified him in the medal roles. Other awards would depend on when he was in France.

The Silver War Badge was for discharged soldiers to wear on their civvies to avoid being given white feathers.

I said he also had the War Medal, it says so on his Medal card and   Medal Roll. His Regimental number was 13801

He was discharged with gunshot wounds in both legs.

Hi Jebber & Peter
Thank you both for your help. I have part of his WW1 records that survived WW2, but they only mention the Victory Medal, so with both of your help I now know all the other Medals.
Once again thank you both and I hope you both have A Merry Xmas.
