RootsChat is invaluable, especially for those of us "across the pond".  While we can search the internet for some genealogy records and information, there is nothing like RootsChatters who graciously...
      answer questions about photographs
            restore our treasured photographs
share information about our ancestors' neighbourhoods
suggest how we might be able to obtain local records
         offer to check local records
...and much more.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone, from rainy California.

(Photo taken when I visited my brother; I thought this one was more interesting that a rainy road.)   ;)

Hi Carol:

Sorry for the late reply.  I started a project and an expected one-day project turned into a 5-day project.  (If you're going to do something, do it correctly.)

The photo is one of my favourites.  I love the contrast between the white snow and dark branches.  You may use the photo any time; I find it most useful to look at during our occasional hot summer days.   ;D   It temporarily makes me feel a bit cooler.  ;)   Lisa
