Help with transcription

Can anyone tell me please what VWO means on a service record?  its on the medical section of his service record.  Thank you.

sadly no - its on his medical sheet and he was admitted for it.  I've googled but can't find anything.  thanks for trying to help.

Hi, is it a "W" or could it be a "U", I was wondering if it could be "............ under Orders".

Hi, you're welcome, I was just looking as if there was a upward stroke when the "U" had been written, the same as the upward stroke after the letter "D" on embarked on the line above.
