McBrides from Moynalty
« on: Friday 21 December 18 21:29 GMT (UK) »
Looking for 3 people in the John McBride family from Golashane, Maio, Moynalty:

John McBride married Anne Cahill in the early 1800s.  They had 3 children that I know of.  Anne,
    John2, and Patrick1
     1.  I am looking for Patrick1, born 1830 in Golashane.  After this birth, there is no record of him.

John2 McBride married Bessie McMahon in Golashane in 1860.  They had 5 children:  Annie,
     Patrick2, Owen, Peter and Bessie
        2.  I am looking for Patrick2, born 1862 in Golashane and

        3.  and Bessie born in 1871 in Golashane.

I would truly appreciate any help anyone can give me.  Did they go to Scotland, England? Can't find them in USA. Can't find a death record so they didn't die in their normal life span.  None of these three are in the 1901.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello.  My Catherine McBride, born in 1835, Ireland married James Dunn on 28 Mar 1858 in St. Louis Co., Missouri, USA.  In their marriage records it lists her parents and John McBride and Anne Cahill.  I have not been able to find John in Anne in the US yet.  With those two names together, they may be who you are looking for as well?

Hi Randy,

Thanks for connecting with me.

That is interesting.  Let me work with that for awhile.  Do you have any evidence that she was from Golashane, (Maio) Moynalty?  If yes, then I think we are related. !!

If not, let me research if there was a daughter named Catherine associated with these parents.

Fingers crossed.

:-)
