Probably best to give us a bit of a clue as to where/if you are stuck somewhere with your research so we can help.

Presume you have looked at Family Search, Proni, https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/, for Griffiths Valuation and at the various Censuses http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/

Then there are often genealogical sites associated with various regions.

Essential for searching in Ireland is a knowledge of the religion and the if possible the Townland where they lived.

A Google search either for records or on a name can sometimes come up trumps.

Seasons Greetings and thank you for replying.
I only have two clues to the background of Dennis Boyle born about 1831,a birth location of Ireland on Census Records and from his 1859 marriage to Ann Miller also from Ireland.
The marriage reference to Dennis's parents says" Bernard Boyle, Farm Labourer (deceased) and Sarah Boyle Ne McGonegall

Addendum to my last.
I now realize that the Northern Ireland reference is invalid and the search is now Ireland wide.

What country are the Census records and marriage records from?

Have you checked these? Often if any of them emigrated to the US they may  figure in records there and these often ask for father's or mother's birthplaces and can have more details than just Ireland.

You have posted on the Co Londonderry board and there are Boyles, Millers and McGonigals in this County but these names also appear in Donegal and others.  Did you have a feeling that the family was from Co Londonderry?
