Baxter's of Ruthven, Angus

If anyone is researching the Baxter family I would like to hear from them.
I am trying to find any details of my 4x Gr Grandfather, Alexander Baxter, Christened 4/Jun/1727, in Glamis as best that I can find. His wife, children and his parents would confirm. What ever help you can provide would be forever appreciated.

I think this might be a likely marriage for Alexanders parents
BAXTER   JOHN    to ISABEL DONALDSON   28/12/1725   Mains and Strathmartine

I also think this might be where John originates from and Isobel elsewhere in Angus but you would need to check the records.
