You are going to have to find Duncan wills/deeds/Bibles, etc, most importantly William and/or Priscilla Duncan, whom a few people say are the parents of Nancy/Mary Ann.
Also, read about the history of the county - it wasn't settled until about 1790 I think, from one of those books in the links. Where did the people come from? Are the Browders or Duncans on census records in Kanawha Co before 1820? If not, where are they? Then look in that county for wills/deeds/births/marriages etc. Look for families that settled and traveled together and intermarried. Did the Browders connect to the Duncans farther east in Virginia?
There aren't going to be a lot of civil records, I don't think. I don't know enough about Virginia to say for sure.
One long time researcher once said, 'Doing your family history means finding out who has already done the research and asking them if they will share it.' That is about the stage you are at with this family.
See if you can find who has already worked on the family. Their research might not be on line - it might have been published a while ago in book form. Try Worldcat.org for "browder" or "Duncan", try VA state/county genealogy societies, NE Historic and Genealogy Society Library (catalog at americanAncestors.org), find out whatever is the Virginia counterpart of the Mayflower Society, etc.
Nancy/Mary Ann named a son William, if only she had named a daughter Priscilla you'd probably be done by now.
