John Allwood and Harriet (McGuire?)

Can anyone shed some light on this couple? I believe they married in 1889 ref 1889/1192 and had 8 children between 1891 - 1914

There is this marriage index but note the 's' in the surname
Name  - John Allswood
Marriage Year - 1889
Marriage Place - New Zealand
Spouse - Harriet McGuire
Folio Number:    1134

There is a tree on ancestry that has Harriet's parents as John McGuire 1833- 1891 and Harriet Carson 1833 - 1870

John's parents John Allwood  1843 - ? and Elizabeth Burden 1844 - ?

Have you any information regarding locations.
From paperspast it seems there are three foci of Allwoods between 1890 and 1920
And many John’s

1. Waikato
2. Taranaki
3. Canterbury

The tree I mentioned has 9 children to John and Harriet and a photo of the couple.

Died 22 Feb 1935 Gisborne, New Zealand
Harriet born and died Gisborne.
