Many thanks to everyone for your suggestions. That will certainly give me some reading and a way to pinpoint the dates.

I have several photos which are believed to be of the VICKERY family. These were discovered in NSW but have now landed with me in SA.
Joseph Vickery (b.1819, d.1891) arrived in Sydney after firstly arriving in Queensland, in 1878. Several of his siblings had emigrated to SA, but he remained in NSW. He met a cousin, Ebenezer Vickery whilst there, although I have not determined which Ebenezer that may be!

I would love for a photo of someone in this family to turn up, as there are several other gentlemen and they have a family likeness so may lead to other identifications!

Many thanks Ros... I can see that I will have to do some serious research on this section of the family. Whilst all connected, I haven't done a lot of detail on this line... unfortunately no luck with a like photo yet!
