Hi

I am looking for the Death of John Stewart born in Ireland in 1872. Last record I can find for him was the 1915 Census in Medina, Stutsman, North Dakota. He was also there in 1910.

Any help tracking him after this would be great.

Regards

John

Hi John,

Just checking that you already are aware that after the 1910 US Census he was in Calgary on 1 June 1910  - applying to the Dominion Lands offices to become an Alberta Homesteader?  It appears his application was cancelled on 29 Jun 1911, after he had failed to respond to a letter sent to him 28 Apr 1911.

Could raise the possibility that at some later stage, Canada called again?

I see that in 1920, his brother Samuel and his wife & children, in whose household John was recorded in 1910 and 1915, had relocated to Arizona (in Prescott, Yavapai, Arizona in 1920). Have you investigated already the possibility that John may have made the move with them?

Cheers
