Thomas WOOD
« on: Thursday 27 December 18 02:08 GMT (UK) »
Good morning!
l am looking for a Thomas Wood bn i think 1706?
Thomas Wood was a Blacksmith of Haile,Cumberland his marriage to Easter/ Esther on the 27 November 1729 at St. Nicholas, Whitehaven.
Easter/Esther was the daughter of Clement Mossop and Abigail Williams og High Prior Scale, in the parish of St. Bridget, Beckermet.
Easter/Esther was baptised 31st March 1706 at St Bridgets.
They lived at Hole of Haile then have a address for her at Birks in Frizington(Arlecdon) then Whitehaven. She died 1790 at Whitehaven but was buried at Arlecdon, maybe because Thomas was  also?
Can't find any children for them?
 Kind Regards
Bullamore.

Hi
Son
Henry son of Thomas and Hesther Wood bapt 18.8.1738 at Haile
John s of Thomas 18.7.1741

There is a Probate for a Thomas Wood of Wilton Haile 6 May 1693 who may be his Dad or Grandfather.

There is a John who marries in 27.6.1710 to Tamar Nicholson
and Isabel to John Ponsonby  2.10.1705
There seems to be no baptisms for either.
