Thomas Higgins married Lizzie M Lipsette on the 10th June 1867 and not 1869 as registered but was probably a late registration.

thought it might be this man who say's he's married and his sister Ellen Mary Galligan who's a widow.
I dont see any thing obvious for either of them regards marriages
