Burdett/Burdit 1841 Census, Foleshill? Can’t find them!
« on: Thursday 27 December 18 17:48 GMT (UK) »
Hello lovely Rootschatters!

I’m currently reacquainting myself with some parts of my tree, which require a bit of pruning and TLC.

I have a couple - Joseph Burdett (1769/70-1849) and his wife, Sarah Burdett (1780-1846).
Both should appear somewhere on the 1841 census in Foleshill/Longford/Coventry area. However, I can’t find either of them! I found their children, who were then grown up, but not Joseph or Sarah.
Both of their burial records state that they were in the Workhouse when they died. I assume Foleshill workhouse. But I don’t know when they went in.
Can anyone find them on the 1841? The name BURDETT gets spelt a variety of different ways, including BURDIT, BURDET, BIRDITT.
Thank you
Johnson, Crankshaw, Burdett, Shaw, Dawson/Dulson, Whitebread/Whitbread, Drane, Hyett, Holtaway, Thompson, Bodell, Livermore, Gee, Vernon, Smith......the list goes on....and on...and on....
