Prince of Wales Road, Swansea house collapse 1950
« on: Friday 28 December 18 16:01 GMT (UK) »
Interesting and sad piece from the South Wales Evening Post this week regarding the collapse of houses into the Strand and the deaths of seven people. I wonder whether it was family who left the memorial.

From a book Swansea in the 1950s 10 years which changed a city by Geoff Brookes (the section was readable on google) they mention the survivors as well

So Cyril Lewis (mentioned in the article) was survived by a 2 year old daughter and baby son - they could easily still be alive and placed it in memory of their father, siblings and neighbours
