Mother's maiden name?

I'm looking for the Mother's maiden name of a Margaret "Pearce" born in the Ellesmere District of Shropshire in the Dec Quarter of 1850,Volume18,Page 69.

Have you not looked on the GRO index? You will find the maiden name there.

I did indeed look using the GRO Index and it did not come up for me.So it is given as Lapworth?

I'm afraid I must apologise,I'm doing a rather complicated multiple search.I had left the Birth Quarter the same as the previous entry I was looking for.lol

Apparently the Mother was also called Margaret.Now the earliest Margaret Lapworth Marriage is in 1853 in Liverpool?

There is a marriage of Maria Lapworth to John Pearce in 1847 St Peter Liverpool.
His father John a gardener her father Jonathon a mariner.
