I'm hoping someone with access to the Electoral Rolls may be able to put the full name to the man mentioned in this 'Papers Past' 1950 advertisement.

[Steep Hill Station was/is situated approximately 17 miles* north of Dunedin.]

I do not wish to show his name openly on the forum as perhaps there is an outside chance that he still alive.
