Thats a shame, and great info regards India etc..

John Baker in Holborn does make sense though, is there a way of proving this further? is there anything i could do?

Perhaps the birth certificate of Francis would give an address, it is a gamble though

I'll try that and order the certificate  :)

Just so I can rule this Jane Sherrington out of anything, could anyone help to see what her relationship to the head of household Thomas Southall was?

Its Frederick Baker, born Islington in 1858

Frederick was living with a separate family when only a couple of years old. The Southalls, I was given the information on here some years ago;

1861 – (Aged 2) - Resided with Thomas Southall (41), Emma Southall (33), Jane Sherrington (36)

This was the information from the census, Frederick was no relation to Thomas but would you know what relationship Jane had to Thomas, might be good to rule her out of anything.

Jane Sherrington is in a different household to the Southalls and Frederick at that address in 1861  Ignore that she is at the house next door (No 7)

Thank you, it was something that was bugging me as she was 36 and could have been connected someway.

Nice to rule her out.
