I would be so grateful if anyone with access to Durham parish registers, or who visits Durham Records Office, could look up this Sunderland marriage for me.
My only source is a newspaper announcement, which names the church as 'Sunderland Church' and so for the moment I'm presuming that it's Holy Trinity Church, which I believe was the parish church at that time.
