Edward William WEBSTER - born 14 April 1919
« on: Sunday 30 December 18 16:11 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I am trying to find out anything about the naval experiences during World War 2 of Edward William Webster, born 14 April 1919 in Gravesend, Kent. His granddaughter says he either served in the Royal or Merchant Navy, but little is known of his time at sea (where he served, his ship(s), rank etc). Any help would be very gratefully received. Edward survived the war and passed away in 2007 in Gravesend. His grandaughter would like to know more about his wartime experience. Thanks

I cannot find any online indications that E W Webster served in the British Merchant Navy in WW2.
Assume he served in the Royal Navy. His service record will be with the MOD.

Cost £30. You may have to wait a while for a reply.
