London Underground Employment records 1930s to 1970s
« on: Sunday 30 December 18 18:46 GMT (UK) »
If such exists, I am trying to find the employment record of a relative, Martin Peter Kennedy, born in Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland on January 30th 1911. He was with London Underground, first as a porter, as early as 1938, later as a driver. Then he had an altercation of some sort, had a mild stroke and was put on ticketing duties. He later had another stroke and was, presumably retired on pension. He died in September 1979.
All guidance appreciated.
Thank you.
Gerry

Hi Gerry
On Ancestry there is a staff register, but only goes up to 1931

I think the information may be available on the Transport for London site - but the info is not online and it also looks to be separated into the specific underground lines...
