Even if you did'nt cancel the auto-renewal i would e-mail and ask them to refund the subscription payment.  Leave it a few days and then renew on one of the offers listed on this thread or the latest thread mentioning the offer which we have been using for years.

They charged me full amount (just over £100), I was planning to let it lapse and use an offer like you said Sandra.

I defo would send the email to cancel and hopefully get your refund. 
In the meantime, if you need to leave it a while before you renew on the offer price, we would all pull together and do any look ups for you.  Don't hesitate to ask.

I have  had  an email  regarding  my   renewal   sub for  ancestry £179,  last  year I paid  £89, as  a  long  serving  subscribers  how  to i  get  back to  last  years Sub   not what  the renewal  is, think  I  changed  my  user  name last  year,do  I  need to do that again,    thank  you
