That’s good Sinann.

They seem quite a family.  :)

Good Afternoon.
Jane Perry (1856-1930) is in my family tree but I need to know more about her sisters. Sarah, Isabel,  Agnes and Hannah.

I know about her brothers James (1845-1906) and John (1850-1920)

I understand that they are all children of Samuel Perry (1820 Garagh-18 Feb 1884 Belfast) and Agnes (1822 Scotland - 1 May 1905 Galway)

Any help would be gratefully received

Jane Perry (of this thread) was a daughter of Samuel Perry & Agnes Smith. Since I started this thread looking for information on Jane I did find more on the rest of the Perry family. How are you connected?

Sarah Margaret Perry (21 Jan.1842 Ire.) m.(5 Oct.1893 Manhattan, N.Y.) John P. Renton (Aug.1840 Ireland-1914 Mahwah, N.J.). There was a son, Edward, by his first marriage but Sarah Perry & John Ranton had no family.

Isabel Perry (c1854 Garvagh), 4th daughter, m.(1876) David Sloan Thomson (c1850 Belfast-1910 Belgium). Children: Elizabeth "Elise" (1877-1956), James Byers (1880-1881), Marguerite Jolivet (1880-1895), Isabel (1884-1965), Agnes (1886-1960). I have a few pages on Isabel & her descendants, etc. but too much to post here.

Agnes Perry (1 June 1858-14 July 1940 England), mathematical teacher, m.(1891 London) Albert Frederick Ehrhardt (1862-30 Aug.1929). One child: Dorothy Agnes Alice (1895-1971). Have more details on this family also.

Dr. Hannah Perry (3 May 1861 Belfast-14 Sept.1943 London), youngest dau., m.(23 Sept.1889 Belfast) Professor Richard John Anderson (29 July 1848 Ballybot, Newry-24 July 1915 Maddydrumbrist, Newry). No family but I do have more details on Hannah and her career.

We aren't allowed to post personal information but if you make one more post were should be able to exchange email addresses by PM (Personal Message) and I'd be happy to send you my Perry file and exchange information on the family.

Thank you for this information.

My great great grandfather was James Perry the elder brother of Samuel Perry.   He was born about 1822 in Garvagh.  He died on 19th September 1875 in Bombala, New South Wales, Australia.

His wife was Isabella Knox born 2 June 1829 in Limavady, christened on 6 June 1928 in Drumachose. Their marriage was 1st December 1847 in Sydney, New South Wales, Sydney.   She died on 5th June 1895 in Drumoyne, NEw South Wales.

They had 11 children of whom my great grandfather Sameul Perry was the eldest.  He was born 16th September 1848 in Auckland , New Zealand.  He died on 2nd March 1932 in Cremore, New South Wales.   if you could send me a PM so I can work out how to exchange detailed info via email

Many thanks
Bryan O'Halloran
