Dalbeth/St Peters Cemetery Glasgow
« on: Monday 31 December 18 13:30 GMT (UK) »
Hi all

I'm new to the site but thought I'd offer my assistance to anyone who needs a headstone checked out at Dalbeth/St Peters.

I'm trying to locate relatives there myself and live relatively close by and I know how frustrating it has been for me, never mind if you are not geographically close.

Within reason, if you have a section/lair/plot number I'm happy to take a look and report back with any findings.

PS. I took images of every stone in Old Dalbeth a number of years ago, so will dig them out and post them up in the near future.

regards

Anthony

There were a couple of previous threads on St Peter's Dalbeth Cemetery which might be worth a read, if its the same one you refer to.

Hi, how easy is it to find lairs? My great grandmother Agnes Riddell (nee McCue) is buried in St Peters Dalbeth - section 20, lair 823. I will be visiting Glasgow soon and would love to find her grave but don't even know if there is a headstone. Many thanks

That would be great, would really appreciate that. Won’t be in Glasgow until the end of February. Thanks again.

No problem, I’ll try to get down at some point this week.
