Anthony I have just spotted your kind offer to search Dalbeth Cemetery for burial plots on behalf of people who are not able to make the journey. I live in the west of Ireland and I am doing some research on my ancestor who emigrated to Glasgow in the late 19th Century. I have located his grave in Dalbeth Cemetery as being the late John Mulheron, died on the 5th May 1940. His Lair is 985 Section 16 Division W. It would be fantastic if you could check this out to see is there a headstone. Thank you very much for this offer,

Rgds

Hi folks,

Is there anyway to find a grave without having the lair or plot number, just the name Agnes Campbell, Nee Quinn born 1914 died 1995

Thanks.

Contact details below:

St. Peter's Dalbeth Roman Catholic Cemetery, unlike St. Kentigern's Cemetery, is still the responsibility of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.  For burial records after 1955 and for information on earlier lair registers, you should contact Sharon Scullion at Archdiocese of Glasgow, 196 Clyde Street, Glasgow G1 4JY Phone: 0141 226 5898.

www.glasgowfamilyhistory.org.uk/ExploreRecords/Pages/Burial-Lair-and-Cremation-Registers.aspx

You have good details for Agnes. Hopefully Sharon Scullion will be able to assist further  :)
