Birth Registration
« on: Monday 31 December 18 14:33 GMT (UK) »
Found on Ancestry, birth information for Margaret Fitzpatrick b 23/7/1835 Sydney.
I cannot confirm this in NSW BMD, she appears nowhere. Her marriage to William Bell in 1853 is there. Where to next? any help appreciated.

Hi there,

Welcome to RootsChat.

I can see a submitted tree with Margaret's birth as 23 Jul 1835, Sydney, New South Wales, but it does not give the source for that.  They have her parents as Thomas FITZPATRICK 1801-1868 and Mary WALSH 1802-1882.

Where to next  :)  :)  :) ... Some thoughts
;) Have you contacted the tree owner to ask for their source, perhaps offering to share the information you have on Margaret with them to compare notes?

:D  Hopefully the three public member trees will still be available to view when you return from your cruising ... :) and you can contact them directly then.

;) Re familysearch,  I was not looking at the submitted information, but suggesting the Records search option...  It can be helpful as an alternative to the NSW BDM's Early Church Records ...

Happy New Year,
Fingers crossed that the stabilisers are set for your cruising, if there's any rough weather ahead...
