Happy New Year to you.  ;D

Not what you are asking for but there are a number of articles on Robert Lamond on British Newspaper Archives. (The search function is free - you can read bits and bobs - sometime they have the £1 offer which is worh keeping an eye out for)

The various Trust Depositions, Settlements, codicils, etc. included in the documents in Glasgow Sheriff Court (Wills), 1859, stretches to 6 pages and includes many relationships. Lilias is not mentioed as such but his daughters are mentioned  on a few occasions. Camilla has further bequests.

Looks like others are having problems with the birth of Lillias - six anc trees and none showing any relevant info.

I've looked at all denominations for bpt for her. I think I had a look for  bpts of other sibs but no luck. Also, I don't see a burial for Catherine, the mother. She must have died before 1858 as one of the testament docs was sign in 1858.

Wondering if private or English bpts, maybe  :-\

Stirling Observer - 19 June 1851 - has a small snippet which indicates Catherine had passed away .....bit jumbled but if you play around you might find more...........

"Mrs CatUeria At 18, India Street, Glasgow, on the 13th instant, Mathie, wife of Robert Lamond, writer, Glasgow "

18 India Street was the address on the 1851 census

Maybe passed on after she gave birth to Lillias  ???
