First a Happy New Year 

Picked up on something some time ago and don't know where.  Looking for a marriage between Alice Emily Reynolds (neč Boaler)(1897-  ) to John Dodds Murray (1890-).  All relates to West Yorkshire.
Her parents were George Austin Boaler (1873-1951)  &  Emily Briggs (1873-1932)

Emily married Albert Reynolds(1901-  )  in 1924.
Probate in 1932 of her mother Eliza Boaler states Alice Emily MURRAY.

There is death of a Alice Emily Murray in 1966 West Yorkshire

Cannot find a marriage Reynolds-Murray on Anc. or F.BMD.

Was she free to remarry, or might Albert Reynolds have been alive still?  Likewise any previous wife of John Dodds Murray?

Perhaps I am getting confused by your post. 

I see the birth of John D Murray mmn Boaler, Jun qtr 1920 Sheffield.  He seems to have been a son of John Dodds Murray.

So are you sure about the 1924 marriage you mentioned, to Albert Reynolds?  Had JDM been married to a different Ms Boaler, or was Alice Emily the mother of his children from 1920 onwards?  I am struggling to see how a 1924 marriage fits the family chronology.

3 sons born 1917, 1920 & 1922 - dtr 1933
 They are together prewar so a 1924 marriage to a Reynolds would not fit in with those dates

Sorry, yes the first one was Chesterfield but is part of the family
