Missing address in a Directory. Manchester 1929

My uncle was born at 30 Hardman Street, Manchester in 1929. I have been looking at the Manchester directory for 1929, available on Ancestry, for this address, but there is no number 30 listed. I wondered if anyone can suggest why this would be the case. Thanks.

The last census suggests that it might have been a multioccupied boarding house with No 28.

Added - it's unclear. Sorry I can't really say anymore. Maybe you could check it.

Which Hardman Street? The 1929 Directory has Hardman Street Deansgate, Hardman Street Didsbury, Hardman Street Hulme, Hardman Street Longsite, and Hardman Street Moss Side.

Sorry, it is the Deansgate Hardman Street. No 30 is given as the address on the birth cert in 1929.

That was the one that I mentioned then.  It seemed to be a double boarding/rooming  house earlier.
