I can only see her in one electoral roll and that is 1928! Tamahere (Cambridge). Daniel is a farmer.

Kathleen Mary Mead GAGEN. Is in Richmond NSW. In 1980
1968 Toowoomba Queensland . On her own.
1943 “ with Harry

Added. Fascinating tree on Ancestry involving three “wives” several children and countries.

Kathleen was the last. He was 20 yrs older than her died Toowoomba 1947. 
No children to her apparently.

Kathleen’s death reported to be 25 Feb 1989.

apparently she came out with son Arthur Cyril Gagen  In 1909
ANd worked  a midwife.

Phew I'm gobsmacked - I had a cursory look on PP but turned up nothing like this,

There is a photograph of Harry Gagen  on the Ancestry tree.
 Very dapper,  Waxed moustache.

Gertrude Minnie was Née SAYWOOD.  From Wiltshire. She did a lot of travelling! 
The marriage is right there in the register, 19 June 1919. Vancouver. Los Angeles, sorry was distracted
