The age in the death notice doesn't necessarily preclude him from being your Robert, but I do think it unlikely.

Gosh you guys are so quick. Here i am with 5 window's open trying to find something. I did find all the children and a few grandchildren for Robert b 1794.
I have just had a look on my tree for a Jonathon but can not find one but in the 1500's i have a Stonehouse marrying a Stonehouse and with everyone having the same names i gave up.

Update; The death index says Unknown for parents so i was pretty confidante he was not mine.

I have not had a reply from the other tree owner but will e-mail a link to this topic for her to read.

There is a chance that although the informant did not know the parents of Robert, they may have had other information to add to the DC which would identify him.
Did the author of the online tree show any documentation?

Only Family Search "England Births and Christenings 1538-1975" and Victorian Pioneer Index.

I have sent her a PM and am awaiting a reply. I know her Robert was not the son of Thomas and Hannah my 4x great grandparents.
The link to both trees are about reply #4 or 5.
