Baptism Nottingham, St Barnabas RC
9 Oct 1881 Blanche Ann dau of Robert Heald and Elizabeth Watts. Seems an adult baptism, she was born 23rd July 1862.

Marriage same church
26 Nov 1881 Edwin (Thomas) Keightley and Blanche (Annie) Heald.
She was baptised shortly before her marriage ( becoming a Catholic maybe??)

thanks for all your replies. I'm just trying to fill in a couple of blanks on a branch of my tree. John & Margaret were indeed married in Glasgow & I guessed that John was possibly in Glasgow due to the 2nd war.

John and Margaret married in Glasgow in 1945 (as she was from Glasgow) and spent their married life in Nottingham.  Margaret's brother, Jim, was married to Netta.  John and Margaret had a daughter, Georgia, who died in 1959; they had no other children.

Doris Cutler was born in 1904 (according to marriage certificate) and married Robert Platts who played football for Notts County 1920-24.

John served with the Royal Navy as did John's brother Gerald who died 1944 HMS Britomart.

Blanche Heald was born in Sheffield 1863 as Annie Temple Heald but adopted the name Blanche.
