I presume this is Mary Milne (ms Pratt) - if so, there's a memorial in Longside as follows:

Stone: 118

'Erected by WILLIAM MILNE farmer Burnhead, St.Fergus to the memory of his son GEORGE F.MILNE d.30 June 1869 aged 3mths. Above WILLIAM MILNE d.22 Watson St., Aberdeen 3 June 1885 aged 55. MARY PRATT his wife d.Terrace, Longside 20 Aug.1915 aged 85. Their dau. MARY JANE widow of JAMES DUGUID d.Belvidere, Longside 8 Mar.1930 aged 64.'

You can check the death for yourself at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. It's pay-per-view but modestly priced.

For gravestones try the Aberdeen and North of Scotland Family History Society index at http://www.anesfhs.org.uk/databank/miindex/miindex.php - not all the information they have has yet been published, however.

For Aberdeenshire burial records you have to go to www.deceasedonline.com.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I am not very familiar with Scottish records.

It's probably worth pointing out that in Scotland, women are not required to give up their maiden names when they marry - hence why your Mary Milne appeared as Mary Pratt on the memorial. Most official documents will refer to the woman as 'Mary Pratt or Milne'.

It's also common for women to revert to their maiden names if they are widowed.

All of this is surprisingly helpful when you're trying to navigate the parish records or censuses, when you've got families with similar names  ;)

May also be worth listing some of the really useful information included in Scottish certificates but not in English/Welsh/Irish ones

Births
- exact time of birth
- date and place of parents' marriage

Marriages
- full names of the couple's mothers including their maiden surnames

Deaths
- exact time of death
- names of all the deceased's spouses, if any, including the maiden surnames of any wives (except in 1856-1860)
- full names of parents of the deceased including the deceased's mother's maiden surname

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
