Photo for dating please - Thames boat trip.

   This picture is in our local collection. It may be a Womens Institute outing. Could it be from 1947? I had thought earlier, but have found something in the records which points to 1947.

The Salters steamers site says the boat was built in 1923, and still sailing, but the date, well we need a fashion expert ;D

Seems it was Hampton court built 1923, mapledurham was built 1927, now scrapped

My best guess is circa 1950, so it could be 1947.

I'm leaning towards the 50s which came to mind before I saw Any answers. I don't see any 40s fashion there but I could be wrong.

I think some of the hats look an older style maybe the older ladies ones look more 1920s and there also some wider brimmed that fashionable in 30s so maybe just before the war
