Many thanks for all the interest in my search, and apologies for not replying earlier.  I visited the site a few days ago, but have since been ill and this is my first opportunity to get back to the board now that I am better!

Thanks to everyone who posted replies with fresh information on Estella, which is wonderful.  It will take me a while to ponder on, but it certainly fleshes out her life (and death) for us.

The answer mentioned by Aghadowey with the link, I think the lady posting there is a descendant of Louis' brother, John Arigho.  The same guy who took his brother to court!  I will see if I can get in touch with her, although her post is a bit in the past.  Very interesting website, though.

My husband was sent to Dublin at the start of WW2 by his parents to stay with his family in Portobello Road, Dublin, he remembers the properties there and being told he was an Arigho and Lefevre descendant, but knew nothing more about them.

Thanks to you guys we have been able to get some wonderful information about his family, for which we thank you.

I will continue to search for Estella's marriage to Louis.

Regards

Luigi Arigho was my great grandfather who married my great grandmother Estella Lefevre.   I have done the Arigho research back to the 1800's as we were always told we were related to Pius X but did not find the connection in the research.  Both of them are buried in Glasnevin Cemetary however there is absolutely nothing on the grave to show their names.  At present am trying to do the research on Estella Lefevre as to who her family were but nothing so far.

Would love to hear from you and any questions you may have.

There is a Estella Leontine Arigho on the 1911 Census of Ireland. Fish Quay, Dublin. Try to get help getting on to Irish 1911 as I am not an expert on Ireland.
