I've submitted corrections to FindMyPast for Robert's surname (and his mother's) and his date of birth.

Paulo Leeds, FindMyPast mistranscribed his date of birth, so there's no real point in looking for it there.

Slightly off-topic, near the bottom of the same 1939 page is the Carson family including daughter Violet - the splendid Ena Sharples of Coronation Street, for those too young to remember her :D
