Winifred Mabel Knapp

Good afternoon and Happy New year to all.

I am having trouble finding the death of Winifred Mabel Knapp (nee Randall b.1916), my great aunt.  I lose trace after 1965 when she was living in Nelson Road, Wimbledon, London.  She had no children and her husband died in 1942  I have checked Ancestry, FindMyPast, familysearch and FREEBDM and have failed miserably, would any be as kind as to have a look on my behalf?

How tragic - they only married June qtr 1942 and he was killed 19.8.1942 in WW2

Thanks for the swift response, can I ask where the information on the probate was found?  It looks promising but can say for sure.  Also the source of the Nelson road entry from circa 2002 as I couldn't find anything on the usual sources.

Her husband died in a tragic air accident but not in front line action so the story is, he was in the RAF Volunteer Reserve.
