If you apply to the MOD for someone's service record, would the papers they send you include the person's medal entitlement, if any, please?

Thanks

They should do but they may not show all of them, unless you have personal knowledge you may not know if anything is missing.

I have my late husband's records which show some but not all of his medal entitlement, although I have the medals.

I would add that  some of his postings do not show in his records either, I am aware of what is missing because I accompanied him on those postings, so am able to fill in the gaps myself.

Advice may be available from the MOD Medal Office:

Room G36
Innsworth House
ImJin Barracks
Gloucester
GL3 10

Can't get this tablet to spell ImJin without making the j a capital letter!

Most recent experience - December 2018, Home Guard, so Defence Medal - no, they don't but you can deduce the entitlement from the record.
