Perhaps an obit for his siblings might help. Have you explored that possibility ?

Sandra

Notice of her funeral in the Winnipeg Free Press on August 30 1911, page 25.  She was the wife of Robert Carson, long time employee of the CPR shops.   The funeral took place on Aug 29 from the family residence at 429 Sutherland Avenue to Elmwood cemetery.  Pallbearers were A Reid, A White, W Millikin, J Hatfield, D Anderson and S Turner.

Haven't found them on 1911 census yet - the census was started on June 1, 1911. All reports had to be received by February 26, 1912.................

Mildred's obit from 1977 has a lot of information about her.  Not sure if you need it or not.  As far as siblings go...it says she is predeceased by one brother (who isn't named in the obit), and three sisters.  Survived by one half brother, Robert Carson of Kamploops BC.
