The word before teacher might be Fortunate?

I wondered if it might be FAITHFUL AND AFFECTIONATE TEACHER.

The word before REMEMBRANCE seems to end in -FUL, so GRATEFUL or THANKFUL would fit, but there may be other possibilities too.

And I think I can just about make out some of the letters of SCHOLARS where you have queried it.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Thank you Mckha489 and arthurk for you replies.  I agree arthurk that either grateful or thankful fits nicely within the headstone text.  I have ordered William's death certificate to find out why he died at such an early age.  William's eldest daughter, together with her husband and children, migrated to Victoria, Australia.

Kind regards Agaye
