Hello Trish,

Sorry, I forgot I did not post the whole thing. It is a birth certificate from my great grandmother. In the Census it says she was born in Wales. At least here, she was not.

I wonder, maybe when it says Wales on the census could it be Wales in South Yorkshire?  There is a village and civil parish called Wales about 10 miles from Kimberworth in a south-easterly direction.  Not unusual for families to move around and not be accurate when giving birthplaces on censuses.
