Bryn Shack Llanddetti Brecon

I have noticed a discussion about the above place here some time ago. There is was suggested that the name might be Bryn Jack though in the birth certificate I have it is clearly spelt shack.
The family referred to on the discussion was Watkins but my great grandfather was born there and he was David Jenkins, born in October 1842. Son of William Jenkins and Mary nee Stephens, the latter from St Harmons Radnor. Would love to hear from the earlier enquirer but any light that can be thrown on this would be welcome.

Bryn-shac can be seen on this map after the reservoir was built.

Thank you all so much. I have discovered too that Bryn Shac(k) was a farm and the occupier was named Watkins but I would imagine my great great grandfather, William Jenkins was probably labouring there when my great grandfather, David was born. They later lived in Pontsticill.
