I have traced back on ten Rawnsley side of the family and found the name Matilda Francewarr , father Julian
Does anyone know where the name originated from?
This is late 1700,s Leeds

Have you tried variations of spelling?
There could be many ways it could have been spelt - Francewar; Francwar; Francewar; etc

eg:
