It would appear that the latest records from scotlandspeople are on line I had a look for a 1918 birth and it would appear the images are there.

Thanks Bruce L for posting this info.

My mother was born in 1918 and although I have a copy of her birth certificate (typed) it was great to see the original the other day with my grandmother's actual signature on it.
