email problem

I access internet via google chrome, I have windows 10.
My email is bt yahoo mail, over the last few days my inbox, sent box, spam etc will only show the last 12 emails. Also I cannot delete, block, move them or go to settings.
I cannot search for old emails, I can put him my search choice but clicking on search does not work.
I can only properly access my emails by accessing internet via internet explorer.
This seems weird to me, am not very computer savvy, can anyone suggest what the problem is please.

Hi Carol,

The email you are using for RootsChat, does not look like it is being accessed by you, can you check and let us know if this is still current ?

The problem according to https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/Re-BT-Email-not-loading-on-Chrome-Browser/m-p/1728727#M50745  may lie in the cookies stored on your machine. (although that does refer to BT Email)

yes my email is current, i got a notification to tell me someone had replied.
